Digital termovision CCD cameras TVC300 and TVC400 are intended for the capturing images in the medium infrared (3…5 µm) spectral range with a help of IR CCD with Shottky barriers.
The IR sensors used are the ELCM1091 and ELCM1090 types IR CCD sensors with the Shottky barriers and formats 320×240 and 480×320, respectively.
For cooling the detector down to the temperature of 77K a refilled liquid nitrogen cryostat is used.
Main fields of the thermovision cameras applications are: detection and recognition of various objects at a night time (surveillance, borders patrolling, search and rescue operations), heat leakage
detection at buildings and heat networks, detection of the overheat components in power circuits, thermography in medicine, etc.
Medical thermography allows to detect and to recognize pathological changes of internal at an early, pre-clinical stage. During a complex disease diagnostics the thermography provides additional valuable information regarding the existence
and dangerous of an inflammatory process and allows to estimate the effectiveness of a conservative treatment.
Developed and produced thermovision cameras for several years are being successfully tested in a number of clinical and diagnostics centers of Saint Petersburg. The pictures in the Gallery demonstrate the
effectiveness of thermography for the diagnostics of many diseases.
